My journey toward self-love has been anything but straightforward. For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with self-love and body dysmorphia. As an adult, I discovered these struggles were deeply rooted in my childhood—a time marked by feelings of abandonment and an absence of communication around emotions.
As life unfolded, I found myself with a blended family: three amazing kids and four wonderful bonus kids. My experiences taught me the importance of breaking generational cycles and creating a foundation of love and understanding for my children. I knew that to lead them by example, I needed to heal myself first.
Through therapy, God’s word, and the support of both old and new friendships, I began to find myself for the first time. This process of self-discovery and transformation has inspired me to share my journey with others. My hope is that this blog becomes a place where you feel encouraged to embrace who you are, just as God made you. Together, let’s learn how to replace negative thoughts with positivity, live authentically, and find joy in a world that can feel overwhelming at times.
You are worthy of love—especially your own. Let’s navigate this crazy, beautiful life together.
